Single-storey homes often leave little wall above patio doors for a standard awning mount. On this bungalow in Loose, we fitted a Weinor Cassita II using specialist brackets to lift the cassette to the height the projection needs — finished in Pigeon Blue with a solid denim acrylic fabric that ties in with the garden’s blue railings and pots.
Retracted, the slim cassette sits clean against the buff brick. Extended, it throws a deep shade across the flagged patio without a permanent roof.

On a low wall, fixing the cassette too close to the door head can leave the fabric almost flat and restrict headroom. Specialist brackets raise the cassette toward the eaves so the arms open with a proper pitch — better shade, better clearance when you walk in and out.
Why this Loose install needed specialist brackets
Bungalows and single-storey extensions are common around Loose and Maidstone. They look neat with a Cassita II, but only if the survey picks the right fixing: wall strength, brick course, and height above the opening. We survey as approved Weinor installers, specify the bracket type with the awning, and colour-match the hardware so the tall posts read as part of the design rather than an afterthought.
